Warranty conditions



Repair or replacement must always be performed by Orthostatical or an authorized representative.

We offer a 5 year warranty on the frame of the wheelchair, a 2 year warranty on the electronic parts and a 6 month warranty on the batteries. The parts that are replaced after the initial warranty expires are covered by a new 12 month warranty.

If your wheelchair breaks during normal usage within the first 5 years, please contact us and we will replace the frame under warranty. If the battery or any of the electronic parts has a problem please contact us and we will sent you spare parts free of charge. 

The repair is free of charge only if the wheelchair is returned to the authorized service. Otherwise the current price list of services is applied.

The warranty is not applicable for damages on consumable items such as plastic parts, tires, upholstery and similar parts. 



Under normal conditions the warranty is not applicable when: 

  • The wheelchair or part of it has not been serviced or repaired according to the manufacturer’s instructions, as they appear in each user’s manual, or standard equipment has not been used. 
  • The damage was due to the user’s negligence, a fall or misuse.
  • The wear and tear or damage was due to third party intervention of unauthorized people without notifying Orthostatical in advance.
